In view of the latest pandemic, Eco Expo Asia 2020, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), has migrated online. Consolidating with other fairs into HKTDC Autumn Sourcing Week丨ONLINE (ASWO), the Eco Expo Asia 2020 continues to support industries with a business platform and carry on the momentum to assist them in overcoming the business challenges brought by the pandemic.

The Environmental Protection Department (EPD) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region sets up the online exhibition platform, the Hong Kong Pavilion, at the online ASWO to facilitate Hong Kong's environmental enterprises or organisations to promote and showcase their environmental technologies, services, and products, as well as to conduct business matchings and virtual meetings so as to expand business networks and explore business opportunities.

This year, the Hong Kong Pavilion has allied 16 numbers of Hong Kong environmental enterprises and organisations to showcase a wide range of environmental technologies, services and products. These include technologies and solutions for treatment of air, waste, waste oil and wastewater; technologies and facilities for recovery and recycling of waste; environmental consultancy and monitoring services; circular economy solutions; energy efficiency audits and environmental certification services; application solutions for eco-friendly electronic products, etc.

Exhibitors of Hong Kong Pavilion are invited to participate and share at the pavilion’s online seminars, which allow exchanges of market information and professional knowledge among the participating Hong Kong exhibitors, visitors, and other exhibitors in the trade fair. Through a new business matching platform provided by HKTDC, further business networks can still be established despite the pandemic.
